I remember those days in the church choir as i would sing lead with all my heart, with so much passion it felt like my heart was actually being ripped out. I would long so much for worship days to arrive and i loved choir practice sessions. I have fond memories of Gospel music, Healing, soothing, gospel music.
As a singer, I believe Gospel music tops it all... Its what kept our black ancestors going in far off slavery land America. You can sing Gospel in all kinds of genres, jazz, afrobeat, soul... just name it.

Too bad its not the most popular brand of music in the world now but did u know almost all celebrity pop artists started off in the church choir? R. kelly, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and the list goes on and on. Its the root of all beautiful music.
