CRTV's Director, Charles Ndongo Announces Reduction of Salaries for Employees - Fab-book

This is a typical example of a twist of Irony.  Just a few days after a list of Director Generals of parastatals' enormous salaries was released (read here if you missed it), CRTV's General Director, Charles Ndongo who earns 7000,000 Francs a month, has released a communique announcing the reduction of the salaries of the parastatal's employees.

These employees who barely earn a fraction of what he earns will yet again see their already meager salaries deducted. In a country purportedly poor, the magnanimous salaries that enter into these CEO's bank accounts at the end of each month will explain why the country remains poor in the first place.

Is this some form of reverse Robin hood strategy where instead of taking from the rich to give the poor, we take from the poor to add to what the rich already possess?

The communique explains that the salary deduction is to re-establish financial and legal orthodoxy. What the heck does that mean anyway?

See communique below
