The famous " coffin revolutionist", Mancho Bibixy, is yet in detention at the maximum security central prison of Kondegui Yaounde, Cameroon weeks after the liberation of some few detainees that were abducted with pretexts of arrestatiom about the same as his. He was arrested/abducted in Bamenda on January 19 2017 and is currently facing the exact same treasonous charges of Agbor Balla, Dr Fontem Neba, Ayah Paul Abine and few more who were released after several months of torture.
Every single time he features in the military Tribunal, his presence has always been memorable with daring moves that inspire the Southern Cameroons revolutionary struggle. Mancho Bibixy is that one person who has categorically stood his grounds and has not wavered from his initial stand point of strictness. "Straight talk No Politics"
He did it again today in the military court room, with rigour and vigour...."You should sentence me to death and free every other".... From the onset when he took to the streets leading protests in a coffin in November 2016, where he gained his current fame, he systematically and symbolically declared that he was ready to die for 'the cause'. Asking the tribunal to sentence him to death while liberating the others incarcerated with him this afternoon , is evidence of his steadfastness, determination and a great show of his leadership selflessness!
This leads to a very cynical concern - Could it be that those who were liberated after months of torturous incarceration actually compromise their honour just to attain freedom?.Considering the current political topography; the banned consortium Secretary General, Dr Fontem Neba's silence, and shocking revelations by Sisiku Agbor Balla's poicies, one is tempted to think there was a "pipe down" which led to or secured their release.
While a huge majority continues to advocate strongly for the release of Southern Cameroonian heroes and rejecting school resumption, as proposed by Balla, Mancho Bibixy can truly be seen as a true emblem of the Southern Cameroons/Ambazonian independence revolution.
Mancho Bibixy, the man of the day who puts smiles on the faces of those that were disappointed by Balla's declaration.
