Awu is an artist signed under a Bamenda based record label called Plaza Entertainment. Before this release, Awu did a song for the AFCON games to celebrate the women in sports.
The song For Ma Name is his first release under Plaza Entertainment and is all about a girl who he gives his all to but receives very little of all he gives to the girl in return. It's a story of a very materialistic girl who never gets satisfied no matter how and what she gets.
