Friday 24th February, 2017 was a chaotic day to the people of Southern Cameroons with a troubling video surfacing from Tassang Wilfred in which He asked the interim consortium leaders, Tapang Ivo Tanku and Mark Bareta to step down as Consortium leaders. He also said a couple of other troubling things that left people confused and making all sorts of speculations as to the possible cause of this video. Factions were being created already till this timely message below from Dr David Makongo. After reading it, I felt like the consortium has got a wise counsellor in the person of Dr David Makongo. Read and be inspired too!!
A MUST READ! Powerful write up from Dr David Makongo.. My friends, to breakaway from the chains of colonization and shackles of marginalization, we need oceans and not drops of people. Individually, we are a drop but United we are an oncean.
Its about time the spiderweb unite if the lion must be tied because we will perish together as fools and cowards if we fail to live together and approach this struggle together as brothers and sisters!
The best comfort that can be found in the present misunderstanding amongst few groups is that where there is no peril in the struggle there is hardly any glory in the triumph.
Mark and Ivo, your interim leadership has been formidable and highly instrumental in the success and survival of this struggle from the day our leaders were arrested to the moment you accepted their transfer of power to both you abroad and beyond the reach of LRC's oppression machinery. Had you not swiftly and efficiently accepted and executed directives handed down to you by our leaders this struggle will be history today.
It is our hope that when you accepted power you did not underestimate the power of LRC and it's ability to destabilize the struggle.
Today your leadership has been called to test and you must live up to that test because you have the mandate of the people.
Dr. BALLA Co leaders who transfered power to you remain the legal and only legitimate leaders of this struggle and no matter how long they are held in captivity no one can take this power away from them.
Like Nelson Mandela, Dr. Balla will continue to be our leader and there can be no negotiations without him (all others) being released and not until their release, the interim leaders (Mark and Ivo) cannot and will never be relieved of their interim functions by people who did not hand them power in the first place. "Nemo dat quod non habet."
Mark and Ivo, the people of Southern Cameroonians look up to Dr. BALLA AND other leaders who gave you power for inspiration and leadership and therefore trust you and look up to both you. You guys must continue in their footsteps until they are released from prison and take over power or until they decide what direction to go. For now you remain our leaders.
We love you, we trust you and recommend that you continue to work with everyone who really likes our course. Expect to face more insults and even tougher challenges ahead of you. And at all times I call upon both you to continue to showcase your persistence, patience, positivity and creativity. The struggle continues.
When spider webs unite they can tie up a lion.
(Dr. Makongo, approves this message)
