The tragic story of a young pregnant lady who died just after giving birth to a beautiful set of twins is so heartbreaking.
It is reported that due to the imposed curfew, gendarmes blocked the roads did not allow the pregnant woman in labour to get to hospital on time. This is reported to have happened on the night of October 10th.
A bike rider is said to have carried the young woman to the hospital. Sadly, it was already too late for the lady though the twin babies survived and are healthy.
The streets of the anglophone zone are reported to have been heavily militarised with road blocks everywhere. My only issue is that a woman in labour should at least have been an exception to the rule. No matter how imperative they thought their road blocks were, at least this woman in labour should have been given some consideration.
Now, two babies are left behind without a mother. RIP Feh Stephanie
